Departments

  1. Administration

    The Township Administrator is responsible for the overall management and supervision of all township operations.

  2. Affordable Housing

    The Township's affordable housing activities are guided by the Plainsboro Township Housing Agency and administered by the Plainsboro Non-Profit Housing Corporation.

  3. Code Enforcement

    The Code Enforcement Department includes all inspection and enforcement activity in the areas of building, fire prevention, housing, and health.

  4. Finance

    The Finance Department is responsible for the receipt, safeguarding, investment, and disbursement of municipal funds, which includes purchasing, tax collection, accounts payable, pension and payroll.

  5. Human Resources

    The Human Resources Office supports the Township in its mission to serve the needs of the community by recruiting, developing and retaining an outstanding workforce who are committed to quality public service.

  6. Municipal Court

    Municipal courts have limited jurisdiction. All traffic violations, driving while intoxicated, disorderly person crimes are handled in Municipal Court.

  7. Planning & Zoning

    The Department of Planning and Zoning is responsible for guiding the long-range development and conservation of open space of the Township of Plainsboro.

  8. Police Department

    The police department investigates all crimes and quality of life complaints in addition to enforcing traffic violations and handling motor vehicle accidents within Plainsboro Township.

  9. Public Works

    The Plainsboro Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of Township roadways, storm drains, parks and recreational facilities, and all other township properties.

  10. Recreation and Community Services

    The Plainsboro Township Recreation and Community Services Department offers a variety of programs and services for residents.
