Camp Information


  •  Grades: Boys and girls in upcoming grades 6-8 for the 2020-2021 school year.
  • Location: Online
  • Dates: July 27 - Aug 7
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • Staff: Erin Suozzo, 8th Grade Math Teacher and Community Middle School MathCounts Coach of the 2016 National 4th Place Team; Lisa Sacca, 8th Grade Science Teacher and Community Middle School Science Olympiad Coach; former members of the State Champion MathCounts Team and National Competitors.
  • Fee: $250.00 
  • Residency: Open to residents of Plainsboro or West Windsor as well as children of Plainsboro based business employees. Non-residents can register after May 15th. Registering ineligible children will result in removal from the program and no refund. 

Description


Mixed Topics in Pre Algebra (rising grades 6&7)
Topics include integers, one variable equations, ratios, percents & proportions, etc.

Mixed Topics in Algebra (rising grades 7&8) 
Topics include linear functions & rate of change, systems, exponents, factoring, etc.

Each course will run for 3 hours. Alternating/taking a break every 45 min. 

9:00-9:45 Teacher Led Instruction/guided practice (whole group) 

9:45 -10:30- Independent Choice/ Leveled Practice 

10:30-11:15 Teacher Led Instruction/guided practice (whole group) 

11:15 -12:00- Independent Choice/ Leveled Practice 

Registration for this camp will be done directly with Plainsboro Academic Camps LLC.
