National Night Out: Plainsboro Police Host “National Night Out” on Tuesday, August 2nd, citizens from neighborhoods throughout Plainsboro are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 33rd annual National Night Out. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership. Join the Plainsboro Police Department from 6-8pm at Morris Davison Park for a community-wide gathering to mark this important evening. Highlights include live music, kiddie rides, car show, bicycle safety checks, local emergency services equipment display and other fun.
Evenings in the Park: Kickball and Watermelon (Sponsored by Indus American Bank): Let's play ball! Come on out to Plainsboro Park tomorrow, July 21st from 6:30-7:30PM for a fun game of kickball, then after the game stay for a nice refreshing watermelon! Bring the whole family! FREE event, no registration required.
New! Paddleboard Clinic: It’s not too late to sign up for our new Paddleboard Clinic Class. The July 23rd class was postponed to Saturday, July 30th 9:00-11:00am OR 11:15am-1:15pm at Plainsboro Pond. Stand up paddling is the wave of the future, literally! It's perfect for catching those waves you find on inland lakes or cruising down a river while getting the ultimate core workout. Come check out this exciting new program. $50 per class. Spaces are limited, sign up early!
Senior Transportation: Merwick Care & Rehabilitation Center, in a cooperative pilot program with Plainsboro Recreation, will drive Plainsboro seniors from The Recreation & Cultural Center to McCaffrey's Market in West Windsor on the following Wednesdays: 7/27, 8/10, 8/24. Transportation is free, but registration is required. Space is limited. Sign up at Plainsboro Recreation or call us at 609-799-0909 x1719. Bus will depart from Plainsboro Recreation at 12:00pm and return at 2:00pm.
