A Certified Copy of a vital record is issued to those individuals who have a direct link to the individual(s) named on the vital record, as identified in the Governor’s Executive Order 18, and provided that the requestor is able to identify the vital record and can provide proof of his identity and relationship.
Certified Copies can be obtained from the Township Clerk’s Office in person or by mail. Birth Certificates are available for those who were born in Plainsboro. Death Certificates are available if the deceased passed away in Plainsboro. Certified copies of Marriage/Civil Union Licenses or Remarriage/Reaffirmation of a Civil Union are available if the ceremony was performed in Plainsboro. Certified copies of Domestic Partnership are available if the registration took place in Plainsboro. The charge is $15.00 per copy and $25.00 for a correction of a record. Fees are payable by cash or money order, made out to “Plainsboro Township”. Please fill out the required form and submit the proper I.D.
