Description: The Science Olympiad Summer Camp is an excellent opportunity for middle school students (rising grades 6-9) to get hands-on practice and experience in the areas of Life, Personal, & Social Science, Physical Science & Chemistry, Technology & Engineering, and Inquiry & the Nature of Science. Students will learn about, practice, and perform in events annually chosen for the State and National Science Olympiad Tournaments. Students will be partnered to work on events ranging from Anatomy to Simple Machine to “Write it Do it”. Many Science Olympiad students at state and national tournaments attribute their success to concepts learned and practiced over the summer between seasons. This 2-week camp will provide a platform for students who would like to learn about Science Olympiad and improve their knowledge and skills in this field.
