Consumer Electronics Disposal

Plainsboro’s Conservation Center allows residents to dispose of their electronics in an environmentally friendly manner.  Electronics accepted include personal computers, monitors, keyboards, scanners, modems, printers, cables, audio visual equipment and stereos.  Televisions are only accepted during our bulk waste drop off events.

Through December 14, 2013 the Conservation Center is open Mondays & Thursdays 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm and Saturdays 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Through an agreement with the Middlesex County Division of Solid Waste Management residents are also allowed to dispose of their electronics in the following manner:

Location:    SIMS Recycling Solutions, 401 Mill Road, Edison, NJ 08837

When:         1st Saturday of the month: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

                    3rd Monday of the month: Noon – 4:00 pm

                    Closed holidays and some weekends

Residents of Plainsboro may also utilize the Bulk Waste Drop Off (listed below) held at the Conservation Center off Grovers Mill Road on four Saturdays each year from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to dispose of consumer electronics.
