Parks Directions

To note, the starting point for the following directions is the intersection of Scudders Mill & Dey Roads (Municipal Complex). The name of the road changes from “Scudders Mill Road” to “Plainsboro Road” at this point.

Community Park (Scotts Corner Road) - includes athletic fields, concession stand, open space, picnic area, playground, rollerblading/street hockey, and dog park Directions: Take Dey Road across Scudders Mill Road. Go to first light and make a left onto Scotts Corner Road.  Continue past development – park entrance will be on the left.

Lenape Trail (George Davison Road) - a 2 mile linear park that accommodates walking, jogging, biking.  Directions: This is a linear park that runs along Plainsboro Pond. One end is at Waters Edge Park; the other end is accessed at George Davison Road.  See Waters Edge Park directions below.  To get to George Davison Road, take Plainsboro Road (going toward Cranbury). Go past Princeton Meadows Shopping Center and next two lights after that.  Make a right at the light for George Davison Road. Park entrance is on the right behind town homes.  Parking is available at both ends of the trail.

Mill Pond Park (Maple Avenue) - on Plainsboro Pond a scenic spot for non– motorized boating, fishing, and picnics.  Directions: Take Dey Road to light at the intersection of Plainsboro Road.  Continue straight – name of the road changes to Edgemere Avenue.  Continue to the end and make a left onto Maple Avenue. The park is on the left and a parking area is on the right.

Morris Davison Park (Plainsboro Road) - features playground, volleyball, soccer and baseball fields, basketball, and  pavilion area.  Directions: Take Plainsboro Road (going toward Cranbury). Go past Princeton Meadows Shopping Center and next two lights after that.  Park entrance on the left at the last light.

Plainsboro Park (Edgemere Avenue) - picnic area, playground, tennis, volleyball, basketball and athletic fields.  Directions: Take Dey Road to light at the intersection of Plainsboro Road.  Continue straight – name of the road changes to Edgemere Avenue.  Park is approximately a half block down the road on the left.  Look for a sign and driveway between two houses.

Schalks Meadow Park (Parker Road) - features athletic fields, playground, tennis courts, basketball.  Directions: Follow Scudders Mill Road to Schalks Crossing Road – make a right.  Continue toward the Princeton Collection development – make a right onto Parker Road. Stay on Parker Road – park will be on the right (street parking only).

Waters Edge Park (Pond View Drive) - scenic open space on Plainsboro Pond for passive recreation as well as  picnicking.  Directions: Take Dey Road to light at the intersection of Plainsboro Road.  Continue straight – name of the road changes to Edgemere Avenue.  Continue straight.  Pond View Drive is on the left.  This road is a cul de sac – Water’s Edge Park borders Plainsboro Pond.  This is also one end of the Lenape Trail.

Plainsboro Preserve (Scotts Corner Rd) - 1000+ acre nature preserve. Site of environmental education center operated by the N.J. Audubon Society.   Directions: Take Dey Road across Scudders Mill Road. Go to first light and make a left onto Scotts Corner Road.  Continue past development and Community Park – park entrance will be on the left.
