Needs Your Support!

The Plainsboro Township Municipal Welfare Office maintains a small Food Pantry for the benefit of those residents in need who are in situations beyond their control (i.e. domestic violence, fire, sudden illness.)

Donations of the following dried and/or canned items will help keep this service alive:

* Canned meals (stews, pasta etc.)
* Canned meats/fish/ tuna/ham, etc.
* Pastas, Sauces
* Rice, Cereals
* Vegetables
* Fruits
* Baby formula, Baby foods
* Soups, Crackers
* Peanut butter / jelly
* Meals in a box (mac & cheese, oriental noodles, etc.)

In addition, we are able to accept the following:

* Paper products
* Detergents
* Cleaning supplies
* Personal hygiene products
* Soap
* Disposable diapers (all sizes)

All items must be unopened and unexpired. We are unable to store perishable items such as those which must be refrigerated or kept frozen.

The office is also able to accept donations of Gift Food Certificates from the local food stores. These certificates are used to supplement items from the Pantry such as dairy products, fresh vegetables, fruits, meats and fish.

Your donation, however large or small, can make a big difference for someone faced with an emergency.
