If your situation is an emergency, you are ill, or have no food in the house, or no heat, make sure that your Food Stamp caseworker marks and processes your case as an EMERGENCY.
Paperwork, even in an emergency case , takes time. Therefore, Plainsboro Township Municipal Welfare Department has set up a temporary, limited EMERGENCY Food Bank in the waiting room of the Department’s offices. The Director not need to be in the office for you to access these foodstuffs. All that is ever asked – is that you take only what you need, and that you not waste what you take, While it is not designed to be a long-term solution to the problem, it should be able to assist you until your Food Stamps eligibility begins.
