APPLICATION GUIDELINES
Plainsboro Recreation Department
Application for Reservation of a Township Park Facility

Residents / Individuals
Permits will be issued to residents on a space available basis to Plainsboro residents for family/private functions (ord. 25-4G). Maximum two dates per application.

Permits will not be issued for courts, playgrounds, skating areas or pavilions.

Picnicking/grilling in designated areas only.

Applicants granted permits are responsible for adherence to ALL park ordinances and guidelines, including trash removal and parking regulations.

No fee will be charged for a facility use permit / allow 10 days for processing.

Residents Resident Businesses
Plainsboro-based businesses are eligible for permits to use park facilities for company activities (ord. 25-4G).

Applicants granted permits are responsible for adherence to ALL park ordinances and guidelines, including trash removal.

General Information: Park Reservations and Permits
All parks are open to the general public sunrise to sunset. Permits grant a “priority” for use of specific facilities.

To be eligible for a permit, the applicant must be
      A resident of Plainsboro Township or
      A business or organization in Plainsboro Township

Residents may apply for a single use permit (i.e. family picnic, birthday party…).

Resident businesses are also eligible for single use permits for company picnics.

Community athletic leagues or other organized groups seeking a series or seasonal permit must meet additional criteria:

The majority of players in the league/organization must be residents.
For youth athletic leagues, residency includes West Windsor and Plainsboro players.
The league must provide proof of insurance as required by the township, as well as sign hold harmless documents.
Teams within leagues (local or regional) are not eligible for their own seasonal permits.

It is the responsibility of the APPLICANT to contact the appropriate Township Department(s) to secure ALL required permits. Approval of this application (for recreation facility) does not imply approval of any other permits — however, it is a pre-requisite for all other permits (as listed below).

The APPLICANT accepts responsibility for ALL terms and conditions as set forth in the Park Ordinances of Plainsboro Township, as well as any other regulations involving related permits and general use, and understands that failure to abide by said rules and regulations may result in revocation of this permit. The APPLICANT/ORGANIZATION holds harmless the Township of Plainsboro and all its employees and officials with regard to injuries or accidents that may result in use of the park facility. Permit is not transferable.
