The Community Middle School of Plainsboro Twp. in partnership with the Plainsboro Twp. Police Department.
- The Plainsboro Twp. Police Dept. assist the sixth grade counselor’s of the Community Middle School with the Project Pride Project.
- Project Pride’s main goal is to provide positive life experiences to aid in building one’s confidence, leadership and character.
- Each Project Pride activity will provide students with the opportunity to:
- Create group cohesion.
- Build success and positive self-image.
- Develop adaptive, pro-social skills.
- Develop problem solving and coping strategies.
- Expand upon one’s individual weaknesses.
- Challenge personal capabilities.
- Respect individual differences.
- Provide support for school and/or community service.
Project Pride students, staff and police officers participate in a three-day overnight trip which will further enhance personal life skills as well as be a culminating activity for all students involved with Project Pride.
