Over the years, the Plainsboro Township Police Department has developed and implemented a number of programs and initiatives that respond to the changing needs of our community. The aim is to educate the citizens, change unsafe behavior and promote public safety.

The Plainsboro Township Police Department is constantly involved in new initiatives and programs. These programs are far reaching and acknowledge that the community plays an important role in reducing the risk of crime in Plainsboro.  Just some of the programs and initiatives that Plainsboro Police Department are currently involved in are:

Plainsboro Township Police Department’s informative programs reach home, school, local businesses and community groups. The programs provided build community interest in the work of the police department and promote alliances that make our community safer, while at the same time enhancing community confidence and reducing the fear of crime.
