Winter Programs!
Family Fun Night!: Come have a blast at Family Fun Night this Saturday, January 14th from 6-8 pm! Play some board games, ping pong, Wii, and more. Make a craft in our art room. Girl Scouts will be hosting hands-on activities for kids and our Rec Camp fitness teacher will be here to play games and run races. Our new Bollywood instructor Preeti will be doing a Bollywood fitness demo from 6:30-7 for all ages to participate in! We will close out the night with Bingo, raffles, and prizes!
All ages are welcome. Free to attend. Children must be chaperoned.
Let’s Celebrate Groundhog’s Day! (Families, Ages 3-12): Saturday, February 11 from 1:30-3:00 P.M. ($10.00 Resident, $12.00 Non-Resident Per Family). Join us as we celebrate Groundhog’s Day at the Plainsboro Preserve. We will learn about these weather predictors while searching for their homes and hideaways along the trail. Child must have an adult with them. Program will be held at the Plainsboro Preserve, 80 Scotts Corner Road. Only one person per family needs to register. Winter CSI Class (Age 11-18): Saturday, February 18th from 9 am-4 pm. ($100.00 Resident & Non-Resident). STEM concepts relating to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes are explored. The lecture, labs, and exercises will cover many “CSI” topics including collecting, analyzing, and classifying fingerprints, creating & examining blood spatter patterns, casting footprints, and so much more…. This is a very hands-on and interactive enrichment class for students. Current or former Detectives teach this class.

Junior Historians Club
Saturdays, January 14 – March 18, 2:00-4:00 P.M. You can still register for the JHC which meets every Saturday at the Wicoff House Museum. Open to kids ages 6-10. “The School that Started a Town” New Temporary Exhibit
Sunday, January 29, 12:00-2:00 P.M. at the Wicoff House Museum. Free event. New temporary exhibit opening at the museum with a presentation about the history of Plainsboro’s schools. This exhibit tells the story of how the Plainsboro citizens’ fight for safe and proper schooling led to the founding of what many call the “Education Township.” Exhibit will be open until April 23. Ecology Club: Mystery Trail Explorers (Ages 9 – 14): 4 Classes; Saturdays, February 18 – March 11 from 10:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. (Resident $20.00/Non-Resident $28.00). Decipher riddles and find hidden objects as we take to the trails in this unconventional nature hike series. See if you can solve the hidden mysteries and puzzles we have set up for you to discover and explore. You never know what we’ll uncover – unless you join us! Eco Teen Book Club: Eco Exploring, Literary Style! (Ages 13 – 17): 5 Classes; Fridays, January 20 – March 17 from 4:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. (Resident $25.00 / Non-Resident $35.00) Relax inside the Nature Center and sip some hot chocolate as we explore the natural environment through literature! We'll share novels, poetry, and even our own works as we get creative with writing activities that focus on environmental themes. Bring your favorite works to share, and pick up some tips on public speaking and presenting. Meets every other Friday starting January 20th at the Plainsboro Preserve, 80 Scotts Corner Road.
