Plainsboro Police Safe Interactions Initiative 

Please join us for this free drop-in program presented by Plainsboro Police Department! 

Dates: Thursdays 5/11 & 5/25 at 6:00 pm

Location: Recreation Center

Our goal in these presentations is to generate conversation and share information about our most common police – community interactions. We will discuss: 

1. What to expect during Motor Vehicle Stops 
   1. How to safely pull over
   2. What to expect from the officer
   3. Dispelling any myths or rumors that may exist about motor vehicle stops
   4. What documentation is required

2. What to expect during regular community contacts

3. What to expect if involved in a motor vehicle accident and the importance of wearing a seatbelt

4. What to expect if you receive a summons or are arrested

5. How to be a better witness 

6. Police Actions and appearance – answering common questions and concerns

7. How to report misconduct or file a complaint
