Winter Fun! 

SNOWFEST (All ages welcome): December 10, 2:00-4:00 P.M. (Free event) Join us at the Wicoff House Museum for our 4th Annual SnowFest event! Meet Santa, the Grinch and Olaf at the museum!! Enjoy hot chocolate with our heroes as the Plainsboro Police and Fire Departments join us on the museum lawn. Make your own smores by the fire and eat snowcones by our huge lighted outdoor tree. Make snow crafts and play games and activities inside and outside of the museum, including a new museum scavenger hunt. Please note: you will be outside during this event so if it's cold, bundle up! Building a Fairy Village – November 25^th (Ages 5 – 12) 1 Class; Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 2:30-3:30 P.M. ($3.00) Join us for the opportunity to get your kids to explore the great outdoors, interact with nature, and socialize, by coming to this Preserve Fairy Village program! It includes a scavenger hunt with fairies, which will lead participants to the Fairy Village area. After a demonstration, you will design and construct fairy houses out of all-natural materials that will become part of the Fairy Garden at the Preserve. There will be examples of fairy houses in the village, which can be used for ideas. Hopefully, participants will be inspired to build their own fairy garden at home afterwards! This is the last scheduled date for this program – don’t miss out!

This program will be conducted by a Cadette Girl Scout as part of her Silver Award Project.

Mindfulness in Nature – December 6^th (Ages 18+) 1 Class; Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 6:00-7:30 P.M. ($20.00) Take a meditative walk, led by experienced naturalist Anne Price. Each unique walk inspires mindful connections with the natural elements for a range of healthful benefits. Mindfulness practices and deepening our connection to nature can help reduce stress, reduce anxiety, and heighten our consciousness. Join us as we open our hearts and minds to the wonder and sacredness of the natural world.

Come spend your winter break with Plainsboro Recreation! We are offering a variety of free and low-cost programs for the whole family during the last week of December. 

Winter Break Camp Day
Wednesday, December 27^th from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Ages 5-11, $15.00 registration. Join our Summer Plainsboro Rec Camp teachers for a day of activities. Play fitness games, participate in a science experiment, and make a craft in our art class. All activities are typical of our summer camp. Come see what Summer Camp 2024 will be like! Bring your own lunch is encouraged, snacks will be served.

Family Bus Trip - American Dream Mall
Thursday, December 28^th. Bus will depart from Plainsboro Municipal Complex @ 9:00 am and leave East Rutherford @ 6:00 pm. ($10.00 Resident & $15.00 Non-Resident). Open to all ages. Families can enjoy a day of play at the American Dream Mall! Shop, dine, and play the day away at one of New Jersey’s largest retail and entertainment complexes. Mall is free to enter. Minimal charge for a bus seat. Participants are responsible for purchasing their own attraction tickets from American Dream's website or in person once we arrive.

Yosi's Friends Around the World Concert
Friday, December 29^th from 11:00-11:50 am. Free Program open to all ages! This fun concert introduces your child to a multicultural, interactive, and educational concert filled with songs, humor, dances, and musical instruments from around the world! Open to Plainsboro and West Windsor Residents only.
