Lace up your sneakers and hit the pavement to support your community and promote a greener, pollution-free planet. Whether you're sprinting or strolling, your participation makes a difference. The event will be inaugurated by the honorable Mayor of Plainsboro and other distinguished guests at the Plainsboro Community Park. Plainsboro Township Bike Rodeo: 
Saturday, June 8, 2024; 10:00am-2:00pm Ages 4-12 Join the Plainsboro Township Police Department and Plainsboro Recreation for our 2024 Bike Rodeo. Bike Certified Officers will educate the community about bicycle safety and the proper way to navigate bike riding in the community. There will also be activities and vendors available to visit. BRING YOU BIKE & HELMET. THIS IS NOT A DROP OFF PROGRAM. ALL MINORS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED- RESIDENTS ONLY.

Kids to Parks Day:
Saturday, May 18, 2024; 1:00pm - 4:00pm. All ages. Hundreds of thousands of children nationwide will take part in a grassroots movement to discover America’s parks through play on May 18, to commemorate National Park Trust’s annual Kids to Parks Day! Join us for a fun filled morning here at the Plainsboro Preserve to learn about animals and pollinators, sample some Preserve honey, plant some seeds, go for a hike and much more. Any questions? Felted Jewelry – Necklace (Adults; Ages 18+): 
Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. ($50.00 per person) Join artist Nelly Kouzmina in the process to make unique felt jewelry pieces. She will guide you through the basic felt techniques to create different compact shapes, as well as tips and tricks to obtain different textures and good finishes. This workshop does not require any prior felt experience and is designed for beginners who want to explore wet felting for the first time.

Wild Edible Walk (Adults; Ages 18+): 
Friday, June 7, 2024 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. ($20.00 per person) Kick off your weekend early with a fun Friday class, learning about & sampling edible wild plants at the Plainsboro Preserve! Join experienced naturalist, Anne Price, who will guide you in search of wild edibles, teaching you which plants are safe and which should be avoided. Not only will you learn to identify these plants on the trail, but how to prepare them in the kitchen.
