Spring Break Bingo and Ice Cream Social (ages 5-11): April 15 from 11-1pm; Join us for a fun afternoon of Bingo and ice cream! Families can attend to play and earn prizes, make their own ice cream sundae, and socialize with members of the community! Spring Break Family Movie Day “Madagascar” (All ages): Thursday April 17 from 1-3pm. Alex the lion is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction at New York's Central Park Zoo. He and his best friends -- Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo -- have spent their whole lives in blissful captivity before an admiring public and with regular meals provided for them. Not content to leave well enough alone, Marty lets his curiosity get the better of him and makes his escape -- with the help of some prodigious penguins -- to explore the world. Spring Break “Eyes of the Wild” Mammal Show (All ages): Friday April 18 from 12-1pm. Mammals from around the world will be featured in this program. Behaviors, habitats, adaptations, survival strategies and relationships with humans will be introduced. CSI Crime Scene Investigation Class (ages 10-18): Wednesday April 16 from 9-4pm. STEM principles relating to Forensics and solving Crime Scenes are explored in our Level I Forensics Class. The presentation, labs and exercises will cover the following topics: Take and identify and collect fingerprints, create & examine blood spatter patterns, cast footprints, DNA, Crime Scene processing. Current or former law enforcement Detectives will be teaching this class. Hershey Park Family Bus Trip!: Saturday April 19 from 8-7pm. Families can enjoy a day of play at Hershey Park! Enjoy rides and entertainment in the Park, tour Hershey's Chocolate World, visit ZooAmerica, hop on Hershey Trolley Works, or take a shuttle bus to The Hershey Story, The Museum on Chocolate Avenue. Lights, Camera, Acting! (ages 7-12): April 5- June 14 ($20 resident, $30 non-resident) A class where children can showcase their inner voice and thoughts... in a really fun way! Students will learn the basics of acting by learning different techniques and strategies, and in the end, there will be a final play showcasing what the students have learned! Love Your Reflection: Nurturing a Positive Body Image (Girls ages 9-13): April 5-June 7($24 residents; $32 non-residents) This class aims to raise body positivity for younger girls in the West Windsor-Plainsboro community. As part of our Girl Scouts Silver Award, we are helping young pre-teen girls to appreciate the uniqueness of their own body. We will help improve their self-esteem now and equip them with positive affirmations that will serve them well into adulthood. SEEKING INTEREST: Pre-Ballet & Creative Movement (ages 3-4): April 2-May 7 ($65 residents, $137 non-residents) Little ones can experience their first dance class with this program which will focus on basic dance fundamentals and allow students the opportunity to explore their creative ability. SEEKING INTEREST: Intro to Ballet 1 (ages 5-6): April 2-May 7 ($65 residents, $72 non-residents) Children will have an introduction to ballet in this class and will learn basic positions and movements. Ballet helps develop strong motor skills, coordination, discipline, and confidence, while fostering creativity and a love for movement. This is a SEEKING INTEREST program. Introduction to Python Programming (ages 9-14) April 5-June 7 ($165) The program starts with the basics of Python programming and develops skills using fun, engaging assignments that use computational thinking, reasoning, and problem solving. Students will learn about variables, operators, control flow constructs, turtle and other programming concepts while acquiring and enhancing their programming skills. Lego Robotics with SPIKE Essential (ages 9-14) April 5-June 7 ($165) Join us for an exciting adventure in robotics and coding with the LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential kit! Book Buzz (ages 7-11) April 5-June 7 ($40 residents, $56 non-residents) This program is a book comprehension class, we will focus on honing skills like identifying key themes, analyzing character development, understanding plot structure, and extracting main ideas. Emphasizing critical thinking and fostering a deep understanding of literary elements will be crucial for your child’s reading comprehension. CODE WIZ: Python Coding (ages 14-17) April 17 from 5-6pm. FREE. Our Python course covers everything you need to know to master the language - from declaring variables to creating tuples. If your goal is to develop problem solving skills, learn a cool technology or develop projects for college applications, Python is a great place to start! Chess Instruction (ages 5-14) April 5-June 7 ($120) Program designed for children who are new to chess or those with a minimum knowledge of chess. Spring Bocce League (Ages 18+): April 2-May 28 (Resident: $5, Non-resident: $7) Bocce League is played at the bocce court at Plainsboro Park. The league begins on Wed., April 2 at 5 pm. At this time, we will be forming and naming teams, reviewing the league rules, and providing practice and instruction. League games will start the following week and will be played on Wednesdays for 8 weeks. Two teams will be scheduled at 5pm and two other teams will be scheduled at 5:45. The schedule of games for the season will be emailed to participants by the league coordinator after teams are formed. Register here: Spring Bocce League 

Special Olympics Young Athlete: April 2-May 21 (Free) Children with and without special needs and their parents are invited to participate in this sports play program sponsored by the Special Olympics of New Jersey. This program will improve gross motor skills, social and language skills, as well as develop foundational skills for future participation in sports. PLAY with your child and CELEBRATE what your child can do. You will be contacted by the Special Olympics of New Jersey after you register with us so that you can complete a registration with them. If your child doesn’t have special needs, then they are considered a “Unified Partner” and you are required to fill out a Class A Volunteer form. Parents who will be participating alongside their children will need to fill out a Class B Volunteer form. Coach Debra will have copies of these forms for you to fill out on the first day of class.

Expressive Arts (Ages 13+): April 2-May 21 (Resident: $32, Non-resident: $40) Special needs teens and young adults will enjoy this interdisciplinary, creative program. Participants will enjoy movement, theatre games, improvisation, sensory art, music, and more while developing social skills and self-confidence through group, partner, and individual experiences. Adaptive Yoga (Ages 7-12): April 13-June 8 (Resident: $80, Non-resident: $85) The Adaptive Yoga Resource offers a transformative opportunity for neurodiverse individuals to elevate their well-being through the Adaptive Yoga Method. This program delves into functional movement, social-emotional learning, and embodiment, all through the expansive practice of yoga. Yin Yoga (Ages 18+): Thursdays, April 10-April 24, 2025, 6:00-6:50 pm at the Plainsboro Preserve. ($15 for the series). Appropriate for all levels, Yin Yoga is a slow, soothing, meditative style of yoga that targets the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, and ligaments in the body. Holding poses in this style of yoga relaxes both the body and the mind. Join Maria Benerofe, certified yoga instructor, and learn the basics of yin practice. Please bring a mat and a water bottle. Little One’s Nature Class (Ages 3-5): Fridays, April 4-May 23, 1:30-2:30 pm at the Plainsboro Preserve.  ($30 for the series). Come explore what's happening in the Spring at the Plainsboro Preserve through nature stories, activities and crafts! This program will take place partly outdoors; please dress for the weather.  Founders Day: This year Founders Day will be on Saturday, May 3rd (rain date May 4th.) We will enjoy amusement rides, super inflatables, crafts and games! The Wicoff House will be open for tours and showcasing brand new exhibits. All activities are free. The event will begin with our parade.
