HRC presents "One World, One Plainsboro"
Saturday, December 6, 2025; 3:00-6:00pm at the Recreation Center. Hosted by Plainsboro Human Relations Council! Join us for a festival of culture and international food! This exciting event brings together people of all ages to experience the beauty and diversity of cultures from around the globe, all in one place. Enjoy live performances, displays, food tastings, crafts, and a parade. Whether you're here to discover new traditions or share your own heritage, this festival is a joyful celebration of unity, community, and the rich tapestry of cultures that make our world so wonderfully unique.

Help Us Make Holiday Wishes Come True 🎁✨
Holiday Wishes is a community drive that supports local families facing financial hardship. Select a “wish” from one of our community giving trees located at:
- Recreation & Cultural Center
- Municipal Building
- Plainsboro Preserve
- Public Library
All gifts must be new and wrapped, and must be received by December 15th.
Gift drop-off location: Recreation & Cultural Center only.
Drop-off hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:45 PM
Cash donations will be used to supplement donated gifts where needed. Any unused funds will benefit the food pantry.

Sunday, December 7, 2:30-3:30pm. First Sunday of every month, join us at the Wicoff House Museum for a free drop-in craft day. New themes and crafts each month. No registration required.

Come spend your winter break with Plainsboro Recreation! We are offering a variety of free and low-cost programs for the whole family during the last 2 weeks of December and early January.
Family Movie Night
Friday, December 26th from 6:00-8:30pm. Free Program open to all ages! Come spend a winter evening with us to watch Small Foot! Snacks will be provided. Adults must be registered and be present with their child/children.

Winter Break Camp Day
Monday, December 29th from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Ages 5-11, $15.00 registration.
Join our Summer Plainsboro Rec Camp teachers for a day of activities. Play fitness games, participate in a science experiment, and make a craft in our art class. All activities are typical of our summer camp. Come see what Summer Camp 2026 will be like! Snacks will be served and bringing a bagged lunch is encouraged.

Eyes of the Wild Winter Survivors Show
Friday, January 2nd from 12:00-12:50 am. Free Program open to all ages! Mammals from around the world will be featured in this program. This program addresses hibernation, migration and other strategies animals employ during the coldest months. Open to Plainsboro and West Windsor Residents only.

Family Bus Trip – Peddler’s Village
Sunday, December 21st. Bus will depart from Plainsboro Municipal Complex @ 10:00 am and leave Peddler’s Village @ 7:00 pm. ($15.00 Resident & $20.00 Non-Resident). Open to all ages. The village transforms into a winter wonderland, adorned with twinkling lights, holiday displays, and beautifully decorated shop windows. Guests can stroll the cobblestone pathways, enjoy seasonal treats like hot cider and gingerbread, and explore over 60 unique boutiques—perfect for holiday shopping. Minimal charge for a bus seat.

Muslim Heritage Day
Saturday, January 24, 2026; 2:00-4:00pm at the Recreation Center. All Ages (Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times). Bring the family to celebrate Muslim Heritage Month. We will have representatives from many nations, games, calligraphy, arts and crafts, henna and more. There will also be a door prize for one lucky attendee!
