The American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) declared the week of June 20 – June 26 as National Mosquito Control Awareness Week to educate the public about the importance of mosquito control and steps residents can take to eliminate mosquito-related issues. Locally, the Middlesex County Mosquito Extermination Commission is responsible for providing mosquito nuisance relief to Middlesex County residents and visitors, as well as protecting them from mosquito-borne diseases.
