The votes for the February 17th Fire District election referendum to exceed their budget by more than the state-mandated 2% limit, or “CAP” have been counted and certified by the Plainsboro Fire District and the County of Middlesex.
The ballot referendum resulted in 1091 ‘NO’ votes to 200 ‘YES’ votes, turning down the request to exceed the 2% waiver CAP.
