[ARCHIVED] Middesex County Offers Seasonal Flu and Pneumococcal Immunizations in Plainsboro

On Tuesday, October 11th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, the Middlesex County Office of Health Services will be at the Plainsboro Municipal Building-Community Room A/B to offer flu and pneumococcal immunizations to Middlesex County residents.

Flu shots will be provided for a fee of $15 to Middlesex County residents who are 6 months of age or older. Cash only, exact change required. No fee will be charged if a valid Medicare card is provided.

Pneumococcal shots will be provided for a fee of $65 to Middlesex County Residents over age 65, if eligible. Cash only, exact change required. No fee will be charged if a valid medicare card is provided.

Who Should Get the Flu Shot? Everyone 6 months of age and older should get the flu vaccine. A vaccination is the best protection against getting the flu. Vaccination is especially important for people at higher risk of severe influenza and their close contacts, including healthcare personnel and people who have close contact with children younger than 6 months.
