Parks Use Eligibility & Guidelines

bench
By ordinance, reservation permits for park facility use are issued only to qualified Plainsboro residents, Plainsboro businesses, and Plainsboro based leagues/organizations.

Important Information

A permit for using a picnic facility grants the applicant priority use of a specific area. Residency is required for eligibility. Permits for picnic areas are granted for one time use on a first come – first served basis. Permits are not granted to minors. Use of township parks is at one’s own risk.

Applicants assume responsibility for their group’s use of the park including adherence to park ordinances and regulations. Applicants will be held responsible for fines or reimbursement for damages to township property that may result from their group’s use of the area.

Picnic area reservations do not include or imply use of any other park facilities. Additionally, permit holders should be aware that the reservation grants only use of the space. The applicant is responsible for securing any other permits that may be required (for tents, food service, rentals, etc.) Park Rangers will be happy to assist applicants in making contact with the appropriate departments.
