Cable TV Advisory Committee
Established by resolution 04-228 adopted September 8, 2004, the committee advises the Township Committee on matters related to the franchise agreement with Comcast and on the operations and programming of Plainsboro’s Cable Channel. Members serve 3 year terms.

Development Review Committee
The committee is comprised of representatives from local public agencies having jurisdictional authority over development projects. The purpose of the committee is to provide applicants with review comments and coordinate responses when there are overlapping jurisdictional requirements required of applicants.

Environmental Advisory Committee
The committee advises the municipal boards in such areas as open space, water resource management, soil control, noise control, recycling, air quality and other environmental concerns. Members serve 3 year terms.

Human Relations Council
Established by ordinance 94-10 adopted August 10, 1994, this council develops programs and approaches to establish community awareness, understanding and appreciation of our rich ethnic population mix.

Planning Board
The Planning Board reviews applications for development reviews, adopts Township Master Plan and reviews zoning ordinance changes for the Township Committee. Members serve 4 year terms and alternates serve 2 year terms.

Shade Tree Advisory Committee
The committee advises the Township Committee and Planning Board on matters related to plantings on public properties, shade trees, landscaping. Members serve 3 year terms.

Zoning Board of Adjustment
The Zoning Board of Adjustment hears appeals for variation from zoning ordinance and occasionally reviews applications for development. Members serve 4 year terms and alternates serve 2 year terms.
